Lady Giants remain perfect in Divisional Play...

The Fremont Ross girls basketball team showed resilience and growth on Tuesday night, rallying past NLL foe Sylvania Southview for a 55–45 victory.
The Lady Giants got off to a slow start, as focus and execution were lacking in the first half. Head coach Juan Vela made no secret of his frustration at the break, challenging his team to leave the first half behind and concentrate on what they could control moving forward. His message was clear: don’t dwell on what went wrong—focus on what comes next.
Ross responded in a big way. The Lady Giants came out of halftime with renewed energy and intensity, raising their level of play on both ends of the floor and never looking back. The strong second-half performance proved to be the difference as Ross pulled away to secure the league win.
Scoring was balanced for the Lady Giants, led by Sarai Oman with 14 points and Charity Crowe with 13. Brynn Ward added 11 points, while Julia Norris chipped in eight and Madalyn Solis contributed five to round out the offensive effort.
With the win, Fremont Ross improved to 3–0 in the NLL and 5–2 overall. Coach Vela noted that the team continues to grow and get better, pointing to the second-half turnaround as a testament to that progress.
The Lady Giants will enjoy the weekend off before returning to action at home on Monday, December 22, when they host Toledo Start.
